County U120's Share The Points

The County U120 team drew 6-6 with Worcestershire yesterday, despite defaulting a board. With only one match remaining, away aginst Leicestershire on the 9th March, we look unlikely to qualify for the next stage of the competition. Click here for yesterday's match score card.

Cannock League 20th Anniversary

The Cannock & District Chess League will be celebrating their 20th Anniversary in April of this year, the original founders being Ray Dolan, Robert Mayne, Brian Lynam and Robin Lewis. The league currently run 3 Divisions, plus the Chase Trophy, the Robert Ward Trophy and the Dolan Trophy. Congratulations to all concerned.
